Participated enthusiastically in cross country in senior and junior categories

Shyampur. On the occasion of National Sports Day, Doon International Public School organized an indoor cross country event. All students from class 6 to 12 participated enthusiastically in the event. The competition was organized in two categories, which included junior group 6 to 8 and senior group 9 to 12. The competition was started from the second gate of IDPL. School director Sanjay Kuksal flagged off the competition. After which all the students participated in the competition enthusiastically. Rishabh Pundir, Amandeep and Priyanshu won the junior category 3 km cross country race. Pallavi Panwar, Vaibhavi and Riddhima secured first, second and third positions respectively among the girls. In the senior category 6 km race, Ayush Rawat, Rishabh Pandora and Anuj Negi among the boys and Vaibhavi Kothiyal, Priya Negi and Vandana Rawat among the girls secured first, second and third positions respectively. School director Sanjay Kukasal gave medals and certificates to all the winners. He also praised the efforts of all the students. School principal Dr. Tanuja Pokhriyal thanked everyone. Especially the police, health and forest departments, whose tireless efforts and cooperation made this program a success.
