Rape with a minor in Baba's robe: A case of rape of a minor living in an ashram in Neelkanth has come to light. The ashram's baba has been accused of rape. The police have registered a case against the accused on the complaint of CWC Pauri and arrested him. Giving information about the case, SSP Lokeshwar Singh said that the minor was living in an ashram in Neelkanth under Laxman Jhula police station area for three years. He is a class eight student. It is alleged that Ranjan Giri Baba living in the ashram was continuously committing rape with him. Troubled, the minor left the ashram and reached Shyampur Rishikesh. Where the team of Child Protection Commission took cognizance of the case and informed CWC Pauri. After which the complaint reached the police and action was taken in the case. The name of another accused Brijpal has also come to light in the case. The police is investigating it. It was told that at present the accused has been sent to jail on the orders of the court. The minor's family has also been informed about the incident. The minor is a resident of Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh. After medical examination and recording of statement, the minor has been sent to Child Protection Commission, Dehradun.
