The SSP has appealed to the people to give information about the drug sellers in their area to the police. So that the police can take effective action against drugs.

In which the SSP found that the performance of Rishikesh Kotwali police has been better in catching liquor. But SOG Rural could not take action against big liquor smugglers. Therefore, the entire team of SOG Rural has been attached to the Dehradun SSP office. The SSP said that four cases have been registered in Rishikesh in the Indira Nagar case in connection with the fight between two parties. In one case, an accused named Sunil has been arrested and sent to jail. While in the other three cases, investigation is still going on against the named and unknown accused. Further action will be taken on the basis of the facts that will come out in the investigation.

The SSP said that a list is being prepared by identifying the smugglers who have been smuggling liquor in the pilgrimage area for the last several years. So that the police can easily keep an eye on them. Apart from this, investigation of anti-social elements under the guise of press has also been started. Action will be taken against them.
